I am concerned... I have a 1986 Combi-Camp Sport 58" model that is in very good shape... Does anybody know how the canvas was treated for water repellency?.. As far as I know it does not leak and I have been in some rain without it leaking... I have heard of UK folks talk about Fabisil or something like that for treatment but I can't find it in the states... Unless I am looking for the wrong product... Would a Combi pro give me a suggestion on treating my Combi-Canvas...
HI,,,,,,,,,,,, to seal your canvas, you will have to look around for the stuff used for impregnating, there are several brands on the market, which one there is the best ,????, I have said it before,I will say it again,,, some likes the daughter,--- others likes the mother, --- and they both gets married. There are also some brands on water basic, Use a garden flower mist sprayer
when you do the impregnation ,the kind that you pump and spray ,just use the trigger like Wyatt Earp at the OK Corral, hold a piece of cardboard along the windows so that they don't get the stuff. Let the canvas dry completly, before closing the lid.
good luck ,,,,,,,Henning,,,,,,,,,,
