Hi folks, I'm a complete newbie to trailer tents and need some info. I take it, since it is on the road, it has to have some sort of MOT? Insurance? Tax? What are these costs roughly? 0 claims bonus if that helps.

MOT
Is not needed, but a good service each year will not go a miss.
Insurance.
Well thats up to you, if you have the unit stolen or any equipment at least you can replace it if insured.
Cost unsure just search above in company section for ins.
Tax?
Not unless it has an engine fitted.

Car insurance covers it whilst attached to the car but this is only going to be very basic 3rd party cover.

If it is damaged or stolen etc then car insurance will not cover.

You might get insurance quite cheaply which will cover it properly often including storm damage.
