I love being out in my Countryman but I don't sleep that well and wake up early with the sun. I've tried blind folds but don't like them. I try to pull my sleeping bag over my head but then get too hot.

Just treated myself to one of the new Sleep Tight Inners. Fingers crossed they help. Has anyone else tried them?

I've just ordered a couple of spare parts for my Fiesta from Pennine & noticed these on their catalogue list.

I would be interested to hear how you get on with it.

Hope it helps.

We bought one from Pennine just for the Kingsize bed. Love it, makes a huge difference to light and warmth, but I do find that the fit isn't as good as the white pods. The black out ones are baggy but seem to be under alot of tension when the back window zip is done up

I've now had chance to use my new black out bedroom pod, so thought I would post an update.

It does make a difference and I seem to have slept better on my 3 day trip.   It seems to be a good fit. Light does come through the mesh vent at the top, but these also help keep it cool.. One down side is that I now need to use a torch to look in my kit bag during the day, but not a real problem. During the day, I don't tend to open the curtains or un zip the window in the pod I sleep in, so it remains dark.

i dyed my bedroom pods black.

stops them lighting up like a christmas tree at 5am.

no worries about fit or heat retention as they just changed colour.

cost 15 quid for the dye.

i used dylon balls.

one for each pod.

first one went brilliant. nice and black. cuts down on light as our pullman has the green and cream exterior, so the cream stripe on the outside lights up at sun up.

i now happily sleep till 9ish instead of sitting bolt upright at 5am.

second one didnt go so well, then i found out daughter had slipped a pair of jeans in for a sneaky dye.

cue another ball and a foot up her backside.

did it in the machine at home one at a time.

I thought about dying them but was worried that as the white/cream fabric isn't very thick that light would still come through in the morning.

So glad I bought the Pennine one, makes a huge diffrence and as we open or curtains and unzip in the morning it makes no difference in the day
