We have picked up our new trailer tent today and are currently searching for the best offers for insurance on it, we have used the links on this site to see what sort of price we are looking at but most companys tend to mention just caravans also we cannot find a serial number on it, dies anyone know where we might find the best insurance for a Suncamp 400se trailer tent and the serial number.

hi! karende.i went to caravan guard, they were very helpful,if you go to webmaster on here ,you can get infomation aboutcaravan guard,they were the cheapest, but offered the best policy i could find,try them out,tony

the serial number is on the front of tailor ,on left hand side ,silver plate .it has date as well on it.tony

Make sure you check out what their requirements re security are. So, when you're on site, do you need one or two forms of security. Means essentially, will you need to take both the hitchlock and wheel clamp with you or just one of them. Makes a lot of difference I think in terms of fitting things in the car. As far as I know, Caravan Guard ask for two forms of security whilst other insurances only ask for one.

 If you are a camping and caravan club member you should be able to get TT insurance for approx £40 per annum.We did and found it the cheapest quote and they will cover you for (I think) up to 180 days abroad.
