Hi, I had a search for similar questions but I couldn't find an answer, so please bear with me. I've owned conway trailer tents for about 10 years before getting our first Cruiser 20 years ago. how time flies when you're having fun!

I am the second owner of a 2003 Conway Cruiser. It is a good unit, with sprung mattresses etc, and it has served us well for 7 years.

My wife used it in July, and found that the awning support pole, at the apex of the outer awning door wall has rusted through close to the junction of the 5 poles. It is the part where 5 tubes meet (including the riser from the ground).

I'm in need of finding a spare part for this, or getting it repaired.

Any ideas welcome. I'm based in SW London.

Thanks in advance.

Hi I have restored a Conway Cardinal 1988 the roof had leaked. Most of the poles were rusty so I had them recoated cost £150. The large bed U frame could not be coated due to size so I purchase on Ebay 25mm plastic tube which when heated shrinks. You could have the junction sand blasted and painted with Hammerite good luck Roy.

I I’m sorry I really don’t get how to use this site, where to ask a question other than jumping on someone else’s post, sorry about that....
I have a Conway crusader 2009 model with Isabella grey and black awning, I’m struggling to find a annex for extra space that fits right, I know they do universal ones but haven’t a clue what one would be right, winding if anyone has any ideas or preferably links....
Thank you

Hi I have a set of Toilet Extension poles for a Conway cardinal 1988 in good condition the apex type FOC just postage. I do not have a canvas for it or for my own set of poles. I know a chap with a Cardinal toilet extension who lives local I am going to ask if I can borrow it as a pattern for a remake. There seems to be 2 types of Conway awning annex/extensions one sloping/apex see Google images. You can phone me on 01733 269293/07874274849 Roy.

Won't a standard Isabella annex fit?

hi sorry I missed you reply, I am in Peterborough. Look on google for electroplaters they will remove rust in acid. but any pitting will show. Look at my thread on Rusty       Poles of 28/8/2017. I had all the poles coated accept the U shape bed pod poles. as they were to big for their tanks. I used 25mm shrink plastic tubing purchased on Ebay did the job Roy
