Hello,
I am just about to look for insurance for my brand new Conwy countryman , any advice as to what to consider, which are the best companies, and how much roughly for the year should I be expecting to pay ( garaged).
Thank you in advance.

Hi, we got our insurance for our Crusadar through Towergate caravan insurance for about £130. Plus if you go via the cash back site Quidco you get £40 cash back!

Also try CaravanGuard for a price - they do TT's and FC's as well as caravans.

I don't like the sound of that policy.

We went with Towergate and paid £140. we had everything we wanted. Old for new, recovery, accident caused by unhitching, lots of other things I can’t remember. Well impressed as I thought it would be a lot more.
£165 seems ok to me.

It's funny isn't it... If the actual T&C's of the policy state "Old for new", how many of us would actually notice!

Insurance companies could make an even bigger killing, and we'd only have ourselves to blame, as we read and agreed to the "small print"!

...Unless you are an antiques dealer of course, in which case, unbeknown to them, the insurers could land you with an absolute cracker... maybe even another Harrison "lesser watch", just like DelBoy's!
