Hi I have a 2006 conway crusader and want to use bed slats instead of the table to make up the 3rd bed. Has anybody done this? Does anybody know the width of the gap. TIA.

I'd be inclined to take up (say) half a dozen quite wide sats ... (the widest possible to pack away) ... maybe as few as four? ... max six ...

Less fiddly to position and maintain spacing ... ?

I've seen a similar thread on here and one poster said they had 4 pieces of hardboard which butted up together instead of the table, and then when not in use the 4 pieces went under the sofas and I think at the back of the sofas. I think this is a fab idea. I was going to do slats, but this seems much more usable and less hassle to make.

I have a 2017 pathfinder and I measured the area to be 112 x 70.

the slats are already joined together, so you just pull them from the wall to the front.

no need to position each one....

Ikea sell some ready made for £10.

Got them fitted in our Pathfinder no problem at all. Just snipped the webbing off at correct length.

No problem.

Can’t take credit for them as I only ordered on someone else’s recommendation.
