We are thinking of trading in our Odyssee for a new Alpha and I have a few question regarding the Alpha:

1. I know the sink is fully plumbed in, but where does the drain come out, under the sink?

2. We already have a Dometic RC1200 fridge, will this fit in the kitchen?

3. What gas do you use, we currently have campingaz bottles, will these work/fit in the front box?

4. Is the trailer mains electrical connection a 3 pin blue socket and where is the socket?

5. Is it imperative to have the trailer spot-on level?

6. On the latest pictures on the Black Country Camping site, the kitchen shows an oven door under the hob, is this an oven or grill or both or neither?

7. With the gas bottle and water container in the front box, is there much room left for other gear?

8. Is the sink tap battery or mains powered?

That is all for the moment, Im sure there will be more to come.

TIA. Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Answers to your questions:
1. Underneath the kitchen unit is a waste pipe that you pull down and place in your waste container.

2. We had the same size 3 way fridge and fitted a treat.

3. We used campingaz 907, which fits in the front box along with your fresh water supply.

4. Yes it is a blue 3 pin socket, which is on the trailer on the left looking from the kitchen unit. You will also have the RCD Unit under the bed.

5. Best if it is as level as you can get it.

6. Ours didn`t have that just a gas hob, but I think it is just a grill.

7. We got a decent amount of gear in the front box.

8. Sink is battery powered, but you can have it converted to 230v with a reducer so you are pulling same power as the battery pack.

Overall a cracking TT, which was easy to to and quick to set up.

Give Chris a ring a Black Country Caravans as he will be more than helpful with any questions you have.
