Hi all.
Another random o e about the vin plate on my pennine pathfinder.
I have found it, that's not the issue. There just seems to be some numbers missing from it.
It is the proper rivited on plate with 'Pennine leisure products ltd'across the top. It has the chassis number and max weight but there seems to be numbers missing from the chassis number to so the year. The number there is '1078' and the weight is '1045'.
We purchased this as a 2004 but not sure what it actually is. Any help out there?
Hi Keiron.
Thanks for your help.
Everything on there says it should have the 2 numbers at the end.
Ive emailed pennine but they are at the NEC show and not back till Tuesday, so will contact them then to see what we can do.
Hi Steer. We only have 4 numbers in total!
But i've got the answer!!
After speaking to Pennine, i sent them a pic of the vin plate. They said it was very unusual to not have the additional 2 numbers on! they do not know why they are not there!
Ended up sending them pics of the pathfinder and they have summised that it is a 2003 model. Prosume from the seat trims etc.
The 2003 & 2004 were basically the same camper with a few minor differences between the two years, 2003 body was ridged the 2004 smooth (although there a few ridged bodies that were registered in early 2004) the seat fabric is the same as is the curtain pattern but the 2003 had hemmed curtains and the 2004 was overlocked the 2003 curatins also had tiebacks attached
Hi Steer.
Our curtains do have the attached tie backs!
I dont know how they worked it out from a few pics tho, but they did.
Can i claim this as a rare pathfinder due to no age stamp? lmao.
