Took our FC to Turkey through the Alps in March, a metre of snow on the sides of the road. It felt dry although in the morning the side of the FC which had been facing the wind was covered in frozen sleet.
We had the heater on low all night and were really toasty.
We just have standard fitted sheets on our beds and use duvets.
We do have some blankets just in case but never needed them.
We also like ventilation in the FC.
I find cold not a problem, just add layers, it's drizzle and damp I detest!
Go for it, what an experience.
