main question is this - is it still waterproof? if yes then don't put anything on it, other than that all you can do is use fabsil but buy the large tin and use a paintbrush to apply, you also need to be off the grass as it kills it so if you can get onto a school yard when the kids next break up and they will allow you to do that as it needs to dry out fully once done and allow the fumes out
