We are changing from a trailer tent to a folding camper. We know we need water containers now but is there anything else we should be aware of in terms of major differences or equipment need with a camper compared to a trailer?
Perhaps a leisure battery and/or hookup cable, but your camper might come with if it's second hand?
Other than that the only thing I can think of is the blue stuff and the pink stuff if you have a loo, but that depends on your model, and maybe a step, but again if it's a used one that'll probably be included.
Flexible convoluted drainage pipe and a waste water container. You will need to check the diameter of the drainage outlet pipe as there are about 3 different sizes.
Hi,
We changed from a trailer tent to folding camper, best thing we ever did, so much easier!
Try & use it for a short break before jumping in & buying stuff. As already said, much depends on the model & whether it’s second hand. It’s much easier to keep equipment inside ready to go & we found we had much more room. The main things are a water carrier (& pump if the unit supports one), hook up lead & step. We found a smaller waste water container suited us better,
