Hello guys ive been trying to figure out why my suncamper trailer tent has got the stabiliser legs that it has, it has legs that come down at each corner and a bolt screws in and pushes against the leg...
But when i go away the leg just slips back up as its not secure.
Can i fix some more onto my trailer tent but the ones that caravans have??
Surely that means that the bolt is not in tight enough?
Or have I missed something?
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
No if you have a metal pole and you bolt a bolt through a nut pushing onto the pole as soon as you push down on it thw legs slips back up (terrible design)
So i need to put somthing else there i was just seeing if anyone had any advice
Here is a previous thread where people have the same problem.
The links in the post don't work anymore, but the description of what people were going to add to the legs might help.

If the bolt is screwed down to it's maximum distance at the shoulder, fully locked and the tube still moves then you just need a longer bolt with the same thread. That will lock and secure the corner steady which is the cheapest and easiest option to cure the problem.
It sounds like something silly has happened. Maybe the bolt has slipped out of place? Normally these are fool proof. Why not post some pictures of the problem.
I had the same issue with may suncamp 400, i took the legs out and drilled a series of hole up the legs, when i set up i find the nearest hole then pack under the foot
