I am looking to get a transit cover for my Camplet Premium, I refuse to pay £245 for a new one. I would be grateful if you could advise me on any alternative covers or where I can buy secondhand.

I've never seen a used transit cover for sale for a Camplet but you could try placing a wanted ad in the free ads on here and keep trying ebay, gumtree etc. An owners club or facebook group would be worth a try as well.

You could always get a cover made to your measurements as that would probably be a lot cheaper, it's hard to recommend a supplier as we don't know where you are but look up trailer cover manufacturers, there might be a local one in the company directory.

Thanks Rob. We’re in Central Scotland but will give it a try.

Have a Google for undercoverci.co.uk, they do a wide range of transit covers etc and can make covers to your measurements. Their website should give you a rough idea of prices.

Yes I agree it is over priced. I bought one and find you can unzip the top side section and you can store ground sheets and/or folding chairs on top of the unit. It is that well made.

Alison B there are a couple of camplet Facebook groups you could try asking I love my Camplet but the accessories are way overpriced.

I don’t have a transit cover or ever used one bit have never had ours get any damp/moisture inside while in transit. We hand only had one day of heavy rain in trains, about 6-8 hours torrential rain in the French Alps and I wasn’t hanging about. When we stopped that night it was all dry inside.
