Hi. We've currently got a trigano olympe which has been absolutely brilliant for a family of 5 for the last 3 years. However, the time now seems right to relegate the 3 (now big and smelly) children to the bell tent, allowing us to get a smaller and easier to erect trailer tent.

Has anyone got advice on what we should get?

We'd be looking to get something second hand and our budget would be £2000.

Priorities are:
-Ease of set up preferably by one person
-1 x double bed
-Plenty of storage
-Enough space for us all to sit in shelter when it's raining (even if under a canopy).

Thoughts much appreciated.

Lucy

I like your idea but would that mean having to pay for two pitches?

Yes, it will do I think it'll be worth it for the peace! And we tend to go to cheap sites.

Yes, it is worth it for the peace.
Camping is still much cheaper than hotels etc so why not book two pitches and enjoy 🏕😊

A Cabanon Venus ideal for two. Very quick to erect 10 to 15 minutes takes longer if you want the awning up.We use to own one and you can pick them up for about 1000 pounds for a very good one.It also has a sitting area inside the trailer.

I second the Pennine Fiesta route, brilliant for two people, off the ground, really comfortable.
Let the kids wallow!

We have a trigano alpha, king size bed with plenty of space for everyone to sit. Bedroon section up in 5 minutes - does take 2 however.
