I put up a Pennine Countryman folding camper on my own, and the awning. I do have one of the newer ones (2010+) that has gas struts and the newer material rather than the heavier canvas.
If it’s a bit windy, I struggle with the awning. I have always managed to find someone just to hold a pole for 5 mins while I bang in some pegs just to hold it in place.
I do have a motor mover on it as moving it on gravel or grass is a difficult. Tarmac is not too bad as long as I only need to go in a straight line.

Thanks for your reply ,the Countryman looks like a nice camper and I will certainly have a peep at them, thanks again and happy camping!.
Could you book a few days away and ring ahead and explain the situation to the warden and see if they could be on standby to help?
The heaviest part for me is flipping the beds over. It is difficult for a second person to help with this, I find they get in the way. After that there’s two poles to join and the rest just need extending or clipping in place. You do need to fold / unfold the roof, but I find standing on the step helps with this if I’m struggling. It’s not heavy, just harder if it’s windy or I’m rushing as it’s about to rain..
Pennine are at Accrington. If you give them a ring I’m sure they will let you try to put one up so you can see whether you could manage it. The other one is Camperlands. They have some different ones you may be interested in.

I’m sure you will find a solution. Good luck.
