Me and my wife have just purchased our very first camplet Dream from camperland and although we have not yet picked it up (should have been Tues 1st of July but have been put back to 9th of July) we are very excited.
We have two small dogs and are looking forward to having some adventures so any tips, advice and guidance would be gratefully received.
I look forward to hearing from other members who can help us have a less embarrassing time when we come to erect our camplet for the first time with a watching audience, yikes!
Have fun everybody
Best wishes
Dennis, Jacky and the 2 doggies

Just tell the watchers it is your first time and any tips would be gratefully received. Practice at home before your first trip.

Do you have an.email address? I can.email.you the checklist we use to set up and put away. It was given to me.by someone on this site approx 6 years ago and keeps us right. I am.on.holiday just now and it's a word.document but from.my.phone I can't copy.the text to paste into the forum.here.
The most important thing is to remember to swing the kitchen pole out before raising up the tent.

Look you howto set it up on You Tube and also look up Camplet Bent Pole.

I hope all goes well. We love our Camplet.

I’d also like to see that check list.

I've done so many embarrassing things whilst setting up (first we had a Countryman, now we have a Pathfinder) I'm sure I was the source of much mirth on the campsite.

One time whilst setting up a lady asked if I'd like a cup of tea....it was such a treat that I've started asking others setting up if they'd like one.

I've always found camping neighbours supremely helpful, I'm sure that'll be your experience too. :-)

Hi, thank you for your tips etc my email address is dporter2nd at gmail.com and I would be very grateful for a copy of your checklist.
We have just done weekend away as a tester and tbh we found it a struggle simply because we were clueless alas though we cannot wait until our next trip which is next week.
Again thank you so much for your help.

Are you on Facebook? There's a specific camplet group.

Many thanks anyway
