Hello lovely people,
Entirely new to this forum so please bear with and excuse any posting errors...
Just bought a 2nd hand Pennine Aztec circa 2000 but the awning roof poles have hooks at both ends and I'm completely flummoxed. Does anyone have any instructions they could scan across? I've searched the interweb but to no avail. Not sure if I have some wrong bits for my awning, or at least not all the right bits!
Thanks in advance
Hi Pea,
there's a link in an old forum post that should help!

Hi, I am looking for some instructions for my awning for a Pennine Aztec but I have had no luck. I read a post on this forum that there were some instructions by 'Scampi" but I think the thread has been removed as I cant find it. Can any one help? I have the poles out but I just cant work out where they go!
Failing that, if you google 'Pennine Aztec Awning Instructions' there's a useful guide on the second link down
(not sure how to post it on here?!)
thank you spb2002. I've had a good old look at that google link already. (The old forum link is a 'page not found')The problem is that my poles don't look exactly the same as the poles in the image but the images aren't high enough res to be absolutely sure. Pennine themselves seem to be on some kind of summer shut down and I'm now completely stuck...

Its the same as most caravan awnings, except the hooks on the end of the roof poles hook into holes at the front top of the three camper frames there an opening in the canvas for this purpose, the hooks at the other end of the roof poles fit into what looks like staples on the top of the three upright poles there is two other poles that fit in between the uprights. The best option is to take the awning with you on your trips, and when you see another Pennine ask them if they would help you, most will be glad to help.
You tube has very good clip showing how to put a Fiesta awning up your Aztec is almost the same.
Just had another look on YouTube there is a clip showing an Aztec awning erected that should help you. Post last edited on 23/07/2019 19:04:09
There is a full pictorial guide to setting up a Pennine awning on my web site. Not allowed to link to it, but, if you Google "Blue Sky awning instructions" it comes up. On my PC, it's the third link down (the first two are my 'Quick 10 Step Guide' but the detailed pictorial one should be the one you need.
EDIT: Just realised; that's the one linked to above. What was the specific issue you were having, that you couldn't solve with that guide? There is a full pole schematic at the end of the guide.

Hi I have just purchased an Aztec trailer tent with awning with no instructions on assembling awning. Web sites referred to in your earlier post cannot now be accessed is possible you could send me instructions and frame schematic.
As well is two words!
