need to buy a replacement leisure battery for our Conway Crusader - want a Banner but looks like the only one that will fit is 80AH - would this support light use over 3 days, usually just lights and phone re-charge, no TV or such.
We have a Pathfinder and am fairly certain that they have the same size battery housing as the Crusader. We recently changed our battery from a 80amp to a 115amp that is a snug fit ands just fits in, The main reason for going to a larger battery is that we do a few steam rallies over the year, and a 80amp would just about last over a weekend if the lighting was kept to a minimum. We don't have any such problems with the larger battery, and seems to have capacity to spare.
Before purchasing our new battery we did shop round, and found Halfords were doing a very good deal on the 115amp battery.
Thank you for the info, this is our worry as we too have quite a few long weekends through the summer without electrical hook up. We are replacing a Numax 110AH Leisure Battery which has only lasted 2 years despite following manufacturers care info to the letter and have been advised to go for a Banner Battery as recommended by the Camp & Cara Club as the only true Leisure Battery, the problem being that the only Banner that we can find at over 80AH is too large for our battery compartment - we wondered if the Banner 80AH (being promoted as superior quality) would give enough power for lighting over long weekends - anyone out there have Banner experience?
