Hi newby here
We have recently bought a Camplet Concorde
Although we are both in our late sixties we are not unfit but really struggle with opening the shell of our camplet, question is the gas strut faulty or are we really getting weak, the young person in the video adds seems to open it with ease.

As long as the front leg is down,it should go up really easily,at least in warm weather. If it's stored in the cold it will be more difficult. If the front leg isn't down then it will be almost impossible.

Just found your comment about lifting the camplet I have had same problem the other suggestion didn’t make no difference to me. I had to sell it in the end I’m single lady camper just couldn’t open it very disappointed. No one has been able to come with any great ideas. Hope you get some ideas the adverts are very badly put across. That’s what sold it to me seeing a lady opening the camper. Valdooncan
