As a result of those posts I went out and purchased one, well worth the money.
That's got to be few years ago now.
We have camped at Mont Blanc and are dong so next week, forecast below freezing.
I purchased one of those remote thermostats, worked a treat.
I know times change and people want to live in hermetically sealed boxes but even at home we have bedroom windows open, can't sleep without fresh air.
I don't think you will be cold, by the way we have duvets not sleeping bags.
I enjoy laying in bed , nice and toasty, breathing in fresh air.
Storage, your garage is free,to store a caravan is not unless left on the drive, then when you go away every scroat in the area knows you aren't at home.Caravan storage is not cheap really,we had a van and changed to a camper for free storage in our garage what you pay a month is often a holiday away
thanks everyone Im thinking of buying one and is I come home from a trip and it is damp or wet ill wait for the following weekend when not working and take to open field or parents and drying out I mean I can put my camper up outside but I couldn't for a long time as I would be bloking peoples garages.
I just don't fancy getting a caravan as we go to france every year and taking a caravan on a ferry if a lot more money I have heard from different people. also storage for a camper is cheaper
If you go to France every year ... why not store over there (caravan or FC) ... we stored our FC there for five years, then caravan (4 years, now) ... much cheaper than UK storage, and, no towing from home, no extra ferry costs ...
