Could anyone tell me what the little tube is for next to the fridge door? It's on a spring and pulls in and out but doesn't seem to do anything ? It's in a Pennine Fiesta.Trying to post a pic but it's on my phone not a website.

Could it be to hold the door ajar when switched off. Stop mould ?

Thanks but it cant be that. It literally is a three inch long tube on a spring, just pulls out and wont stay out

i also think its either designed to keep your fridge slightly ajar, to stop mould when not being used or it 'locks' the door when travelling to stop it coming open.

without a photo its difficult to guess.

just because it doesnt seem to function - it will have a function (it might even be broken?)

find the model number of the fridge then do a search on the internet   for it, you might find an exploded parts diagram somewhere that shows exactly what it is for

Hi, could it be to drain the water into a container when the fridge is defrosted? (my domestic one has this)
I've just bought a fiesta but not had chance to explore it yet so I am still finding things out myself.
