Hi guys i am new to the site, we have just got hold of a conway cruiser and it is in need of a new main canvas and have been quote £1400+VAT to replace it does anyone know of a cheaper way or shell i get rid.

It's not unheard of for canvases to come up on ebay, but it would be a bit of a waiting game, with no guarantees. Beyond getting one made up by TVS which I think someone already suggested on another thread, those are really the only options. You could try asking on the Conway owners club.

You're right to think that, unless the rest of the camper is immaculate, spending £1700 on a canvas is silly - you're getting into the territory where you could just get a whole different camper for that.

If you do decide to get rid, depending on how much you can be bothered, you'd probably do OK breaking it for parts - there are always people looking for bits.
