Hi all

Just about to go camping again nearly got everything (I think)

was 15 years ago was in a tent.  No Electric hook ups then

Can anyone explain what is the most popular hook ups to buy for a tent

is it 10amp or 16 ive noticed there is a difference in what some sites will let you use

Can anyone explain what i need to buy and how much approximately i should pay for new or second hand.

depending on what electrical items you take with you will define which hook up you buy 1socket or 3,sites have different ampage ehu,s,some have 5,some 10and others 16.the higher the ampage on a site the more electical appliances you can use at one time,although at peak periods ie thats when most people on the site will be using electricity to the full you will get a drop in ampage and a 16 amp site could drop as much as 10amp have a look here as was indicated above
