So we’ve ordered our new Pathfinder, collecting January next year. Doh! Wish we had it now. The question is, has anyone installed a rear view camera, I noticed a few caravans have them. If you do have one, do you find it useful, or a waste of money, did you fit yourself, or professionally. Thanks.
we have one for our twin axled caravan which is 8 meters long because of the long over hang at junctions turning right when traffic can still pass on your left hand side, and also for when reversing onto the pitch or storage. to be honest i cant see why on earth you would need one on a folding camper when you can see over the top and down the sides anyway
With a Range Rover Evoque I wouldn't think there would be any need for a camera.
I could be wrong though.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I would think that you'll be able to see over the top of the Pathfinder using your rear view mirror and as the car is as wide or wider than the trailer you'll be able to see down both sides easily so don't think you'll need a camera.
You can get systems for caravans fairly easily now so I would try towing without the camera and see if you really do need one. There is a helpful supplier in North Kent who has a great website for caravan and motorhome camera systems that would be worth having a look at.
