I everyone, super excited about our new to us Conway crusader trailer tent. We are hoping to do some off-grid camping around rural Ireland, however with a 7 yr old, 19 month and 4 month we will need a small amount of electric. Is there a way to run all the electrics of the leisure battery/ batteries?
Appreciate all the help/ advice I can get!!!

Cardinal sin!!! it;s a folding camper, you could upset some!!! Your LBattery will serve your lights and power to water pump, and heating a kettle. but would use gas for that ideally ,not sure what else you would need when "off grid" enjoy

7 year old, 19 month and a 4 month old, off grid.
I admire your adventurism.
Mind you I am an old fart.
Have a great trip.

Would like to have a charger point for a very important Netflix tablet in the evening for our eldest, also a bottle heater for our middle. Would like to be able to get hot water I guess as our tt doesn't have a water heater installed

We want to teach the kids more about the outdoors away from their comfort zones I guess. Our eldest loves naked and afraid so this was a easy compromise 😊

If you are off-grid then you will only be able to use the 12 volt system which will normally do lights and water pump. Your normal 3 pin sockets will not work and you certainly wouldn’t be able to use anything with a heating element. You can charge a tablet from from a 12v socket with a USB adapter (like a car one). For warming bottles etc, we just used to heat water on the gas stove and stand the bottle in a jug of hot water.
