We are setting off tomorrow, and decided to move the camper from its home at the bottom of a steep drive. The only way to get it under its cover where it lives, is by using the motor mover. It can only go in jockey wheel first. Tonight the motor mover would not work. The battery is fully charged and green. The lights on the remote worked and we went and bought a new battery, and everything on the remote looks fine too. the connections on the battery are all tight, but there was no sign of life when we try to use the mover. In the end we have had to drag it out in reverse by rope, and inch the camper round until we could finally attach it to the car. it as taken us about 2 hours and 3 people, using the car to take the weight on the steep drive. We are at a loss, as to why it is not working. Can anybody think of what might the problem be? The stress as been unbelievable.

without trying to sound silly have you engaged the wheels with the mover? is their a sequence you need to do with the controls when you activate the mover itself, i know on ours we had to press the top button twice in rapid succession after turning the power switch on ,something silly like that?

Our motor mover packed in in July. It was a powrtouch so we phoned them up and they talked us through some diagnostic checks. After these checks they confirmed that the control box was faulty and they sent us a new one in the post to the site we were on which we were able to fit ourselves, as it was a very simple process. I would contact the manufacturer as they will be able to work out what the problem is.

Thanks for the replies. We are back from our 6 days away. We managed to contact the guy that fitted the motor mover and have left the camper with them. Hopefully we will know what the problem is tomorrow.
