We're looking at renewing/changing our house insurance that currently covers our penine crusader - it's gone up by over 20% this year 😲.
Does anyone have any recommendations for just camping cover?
I used to have my Pennine Crusader insured through A-Plan at - https://www.aplan.co.uk/personal/motor/specialist-motor-insurance/trailer-tent-insurance/
I've stayed with the company for my pop-top caravan insurance. Have found them competitive and always helpful and friendly over the phone. I believe that they may still do the folding camper insurance through their Bristol office. They used to be known as 'Insurance for Trailer Tents' and many members of this site have recommended them in the past.
Annetax caravan guard also insure folding campers, I insured our pennine Fiesta and then our Pennine Pullman with them, I now insure our Gobur folding caravan with them, I am quite happy with their service etc although I have never had to make a claim, I suppose that would be the tester as with most insurances.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I have just changed to Caravanguard. Phoned company I have been with for years but needed to make some changes to the policy and they struggled to decide how much it would cost, they would have to phone back.
Called Caravanguard. got an immediate answer (lower than previous company) so went for it.
We have our tent insurance through them. Way more expensive than as an add-odd to our household insurance, but then we learned the add-on didn't give us anywhere near adequate cover, whereas Shield covers all the bases we wanted.
