Hi there, hope you enjoy your Pathfinder.  We're in the same position as you - we have only used ours once for a weekend without the awning, but are going away this weekend for a few days.  I don't know how to make a link, but if you do a search on here over the last month there's a post by someone called Declan, the title is First Trip in Pathfinder, and people have put instructions on dealing with the awning on there.  I've printed them off myself and will be trying this weekend.  Good luck.

I only joined this site today and am amazed by how handy it is and friendly the people are.

Thanks fourtones that is just what i was wanting (If I can find it)

We took our camper away for the first time last weekend and decided to try out the full shooting match.

we were baffled by the poles on the awning but put it up anyway. The only problem was it hammered it down all night and when we got up in the mornining the awning was sagging so much with the weight of the rain you would have thought pavarotti had fell asleep on it (this could have been because we never pegged it out)but even with a ton of water on top it never leaked.

Thanks again Andy

Look at scampi's post if you still want I can get the pretty picture and scan it but scampi's instructions are better than pennines.
