We have a new to us 2010 Conway Crusader (previously had an older 2016 model) it has a hole in the top/side of cupboard as per the picture attached. It’s obviously meant to be there but why. Does anyone know?
Thank you
Brett and Marie.
I replied to the earlier post, but the reply seems to have vanished.
In the absence of any other answers, I suggest that you look for reviews or ads. that have interior photos that might give a clue to what the
cut-out is for.

Blue sky website quite interesting tho I’ve not tried to contact him yet. Pretty sure the gap isn’t for poles and as yet I’ve still not found it’s purpose.
Thanks so far.
Brett
When I had a Crusader, I used to use the 'hole' as a cable tidy to shove excess table lamp cable out of the way. I imagine that it would also be very useful for cabling from a video player/sat receiver/freeview receiver hidden in the cupboard feeding a tv sitting on the top, so my guess always was that that was it's original intention.

Thanks Steve,
That sort of makes sense as the cupboard is longer than most of the other Conway Crusaders i’ve seen (the downside is the seat on that side is more like a 2 seater than the normal 3 seater) but does make locating a TV easier. Maybe it was an option?
Thanks
Brett.
