Hi all, this must be a perennial question for trailer owners as mattresses wear out and they are non-standard size for the general market.

I need to find a replaceent for the foam mattresses on my Raclet Marathon.

I assumed foam would be available to order in the right size, but when I find suppliers the prices are excessive.

I haven't used a self inflating mattress, but have read others have switched to these, however, they are either too narrow or too wide as far as I can see.

The size I need is 195 x 120 cm (the bench cushion makes up the rest of the width of the bed).

What has anyone else done and is there any more affordable option I am overlooking?

I did toy with foam futon option, but again, size was not a good match.

Not quite the answer you may need but have you tried Dunelm or somewhere similar for foam? Its very easy to cut to size with an electric kitchen knife. I did used to work in upholstery and have had to pad cushion seats out in a similar way.

A location in your Profile may get you an answer.

If you try to order foam online you will find it quite expensive as you are really paying for the postage of a large item, even if they say free postage! If you can find a local upholstery business, they will probably sell you it a lot cheaper.
