Hi, we have just bought a pathfinder 2005 and when we viewed it all was fine. However we have just taken it out for the weekend. The toilet flush was great but this morning it will no longer flush. The pump is spinning as you hear it but no water is coming through. The cold water tap is no longer working, don’t know if these are related or separate issues. Also the door frame seems to have moved away from the door top left, see pic. It wasn’t like yhus when we viewed it and isn’t like it when the camper is folded. out
The door frame part to me loos as if you haven't got the corner steady down properly
As for the toilet flush as it's electric and the tap has also stopped working sounds like it's a fuse
Does the hot tap in the toilet work and the kitchen taps ? Are they working
Has the water pump isolator been knocked off?
Thanks Lilbob, I will check all the steadies again make dive they are all tight down
The hot in the bathroom works and both hot and cold in the kitchen sink work
Have a look on you tube, usually find answers to all DIY repairs.
Thetford Toilet repairs will bring up several helpful videos.
As Lilbob says, check the steadies, and don’t let the kids/people push down on the door when going in and out it pushes the hinges down and the door won’t shut so easily.
thanks all for your help. As an update to the issues I have
Toilet flush, this was a blockage in the fill spout so no liquid was getting in. The previous owner told me it pumped water from the main water supply. Thats obviously wrong and after a few hard blows into the filler spout it dislodged some hardened blue chemical. I only us pink in the flush so have filled it with pink and water and all working great. At least I know have to take out the pump it it ever develops a fault.
Bathroom cold tap, this was the microswitch, easy change on the pathfinder and decided to replace both the cold and hot and this fixed the tap.
Door alignment, I need to get the camper on a flatter pitch to see if it was the corner steadies. our drive is slopping too much to try. I have ordered so wheel ramps so we can ensure its level in each direction before we put down the steadies.
Just ordered a motor mover to fit which looks an interesting project
From what can be seen on the photo. I hate to sound negative but it looks like the chasis has been bent, Have seen this happen on two seperate occasions to Pathfinders, when the camper has been opened up before the steadies have been put down.
Later Pathfinders have an extra chasis rail to prevent the chasis from bending.
