Just remove the tube holders and any driver circuitry and stick a couple of 12v LED tapes in it.
Personally though I would remove the lot and buy some LED aluminium channel off ebay and put LED tape in that, looks ultra modern 👌

I was thinking of something like fleck2 mentioned and think it would look great.
