Hi there homebird2003
thankyou for your response i have searched but the same reply i get is because it is a folding camper they won't take responsibility because it's not a motor home or caravan and not secure. so its a matter of urgency i relocate my camper still i Will carry on my search or be forced to sell it .reluctantly a last resort because I've had many a journey with it.
take care
Regards
I can’t be specifically helpful with your area but have a look on the Cassoa website https://www.cassoa.co.uk for storage sites in your area. I have used 2 storage places in Cheshire, both found through Cassoa, and there were folding campers on both of them so some storage places must take folding campers.
A number of Caravan Club (CAMC) sites have secure storage compounds, no restriction on unit type AFAIK, and you can do short term storage at a pro rata rate, that may at least get you out of a fix until you can find somewhere more to your liking if it isn't your ideal location.
Camping and Caravaning Club also have sites with storage, not sure of their details, but they were more restrictive and more expensive when I was looking for a storage site.
Be careful of access T and Cs on storage facilities, some are less than convenient with very limited access times, prior notice of access etc.!
If your unit is insured, ensure the new storage site is acceptable to insurers, or risk invalidating any claim. If a approved secure site you may get a discount on premium which goes a little way to offsetting storage fees.

Do any storage sites 'take responsibility' as such? Usually, its your own insurance that covers you wherever you may store your unit. I would have thought finding a home for a FC would be much easier than a regular van due to it fitting in a lot of domestic garages. Have you tried advertising looking for someone who maybe has an unused garage in the area?
As well is two words!
