hi can i put some extra orange reflectors on the sides of my folding caravan so making it more visible at night as i intend to travel mostly at night i have always loved traveling at night no traffic to speak of just go along at your heart,s content

Trailers up to a certain length have to have 4 orange side reflectors by UK law which are applied by the manufacturer so no further additions should be required. However, the best place to search is the National Towing and Towing Association to see what the law states on road trailer lights and reflectors.

Sorry for hijacking this post
We have recently purchased a 2002 Conway countryman and that had two orange reflectors on the nearside and two white on the offside of the trailer which I altered to white at the front and orange at rear, don't know if that is how it was meant to be or not ?.

I believe reflectors should be: White at the front, Orange on the side and Red at the rear.

I agree as that's how I've always understood the way reflectors should be fitted to a trailer too.
