Always advisable at the start of every season to clean the water system out with something like Puriclean.

You can use sterilising stuff for babies bottles - Milton or supermarket own brands.

We always use Puriclean. Dilute the required amount is a small jug of lukewarm water to make sure all the grains dissolve and then add to the container and top up with cold water. We usually leave it overnight to take effect but there will be a minimum time on the tub.
