Not entirely sure what the setup is on a trailer tent, don't have one and never really looked at one in detail, BUT when tent camping, I have a bit of a mix 'n' match demand on the single gas cylinder (gas fridge, BBQ, stove), so I use a T piece and quick release couplings (the self sealing type) on the regulator outlet, so that I can swap between stove and BBQ without faff of disconnecting fridge and relighting it.
Makes life so much easier than pulling hoses off stems and swapping over, so can't see why you cant fit one on your outfit. I do check with each use that the coupling is still gas tight using a soap solution, as the sealing rings can wear/get damaged.
