Hi all. We have a Jupiter, bought it last year and managed to use it once! What an amazing trailer tent! massive inside! and got quite a few interested glances. Even had I chap in a VERY expensive motorhome admiring how much space there was compared to his MH!!
The question is, is it possible to eliminater the centre poles? I had the idea of welding some strengthening to the 2 apex pieces and would probably double tube the pole joints. Anyone else tried this???

All replies gratefully received.

Ron.

If you search this TT forum for Cabanon Jupiter, there’s at least one thread about this model. Someone might have done what you suggest but is no longer be active on UKCS.
(We had a Cabanon Pyramide tent before the MH, also roomy & an unusual design.)

XVI yes?

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Ive owned both the Jupiter and Atlantis over the years.
The Atlantis did not have this pole in the middle but did have a support pole half way across its width for the porch area. Remember you will have to brace it along the length of the frame as well as the width. You may get away with leaving it out or putting a support pole part way across if the that is less in the way for you. Perhaps more towards the kitchen area. If however the awning on the Jupiter is longer or wider then that might by why the extra support pole was put in the middle.
What ever you do be prepared to have a pole to put in the centre for when it rains as the extra weight may cause things to sag, water to pool and poles to bend and collapse under the weight
