Have recently purchased a Pennine Pathfinder 2004. On removal of the cover there are 4 extending poles, 2 marked towbar end and rear end. Can anyone advise what these are for please.
Nothing to do with the beds, they are cabin / roof stretcher poles.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
These are the stretcher bars for the roof, to help hold up the canvas. You clip them into the plastic clips on the top of the roof bars, and they stretch between the roof poles.
As others have said they are stretcher poles for the main canvas, hook into the curved end to the center pole then hook the other end with the pres stud into the bed pod pole, make sure you attach the press stud to stop the pole falling out while you finish erecting the camper. The inside roof liner also clips to these poles to stop it sagging
