Hi, how does the awning connect to my Conway crusader, a zip etc
I know how the poles connect .

Zip it on first and then throw it onto the camper roof until you have made up the frame. Then pull the canvas down over the frame.

Can I just ask do I zip it on when the FC is up and erected if so will I need a step ladder ?
Or zip it on when it's all down and only folded out ?

We did it when the FC was up, tried it once when the camper was down at it was practically impossible to push the roof stretcher bars up with all the extra weight.
