Hi, just wondering what people use for holding their fresh water and waste water in their trailer kitchen. We've been given an aqua roll and waste from a caravan but there 40l and take up loads of room, wondering if we would be better off with something smaller. Thanks
You could opt for a 30 litre water barrel such as the 'Water Porter' but they don't have the side cap like the Aquaroll does if you ever intend connecting the barrel to a mains water supply.
You can make do with any size of container that works with you system, but the smaller the size the more often you will have to fill it. 5 gallon container can be carried across a field, but is heavy holds only about 1/2 a 40l aquaroll. Or aquaroll twice as much and easy to move.
You will also see 2 aquarolls outside units, guess which ones ran out of water when it was raining, it was dark, they were in the middle of cooking,
or showering.
------------- Yesterday is already a dream and tomorrow is only a vision, but today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Thanks for the replies, any idea how long you can leave water in the large aqua roll? With it being a trailer tent we only really use it for drinking water and bits and pieces, no shower etc. 40l would take us 3 weeks to drink
We don't even fill the water container in our campervan, just take a couple of 5L bottles from the supermarket. As one empties, refill it on site. We only use our water for drinking, teas coffees etc. Wash up at the facilities.
I think OH puts the tube into one of them when he is at his hobby weekend camps, as he's not moving. Uses the sink a little which we never do.
Aquaroll used to do a 21 litre one. The Fiamma ones are great. We used these in a folding camper and found the rectangular shape easier when storage is in short supply.
