On my last trip out, the battery box door opened twice even though I had locked it. I have changed the lock but I think the new lock has the same potential to work it’s way open. It a grey plastic lock, with a grey latch that moves when you turn the key. Thankfully, nothing happened, but the battery could have come out which worries me.
When in the locked position, and the key is removed the plastic latch is still able to move in one direction. I think road conditions are helping the lock to move in to the open position as some of the roads home from Buxton were in a pretty poor condition.
I am going to replace the battery belt with something more secure to try and prevent the battery coming out, but has anyone else had the same problem or what else can I do?
