Hi all, We have a problem with the gas supply on our '06 Pennine Pullman.
Cooker has been recently serviced & all ok. but on a recent trip the gas is no longer coming through to the cooker. Cooker works fine connected direct to gas bottle (with regulator), But when bottle is fitted in front as should be nothing. Bottle is approx 1/3 full. any ideas, Thanks
Think all the Pennines have a multi isolation valve inside the camper, Our pathfinder has it in the cupboard next to the cooker and its easy to close off a valve while packing the camper. check in all the kitchen cupboards. I take it you've also turned on the valve on the main regulator inside the front locker. if its not a valve then its probably a stuck regulator and as far as I know they are not a serviceable part
We have an old Pennine Fiesta and had a problem for a day with our cooker which just had no supply even though everything was turned on. Part of setting up our camper is lifting the cooker and moving it sideway to slot the base onto a notch leaving a gap under it for crockery etc. I hadn't seated it properly on the notch which meant it was slightly up on one end. As soon as I dropped it into the notch everything worked perfectly.
I don't know if your Pullman has a similar system but your problem sounds identical to the one I fixed. Hope you sort it out.
------------- A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools
We have the Pullman and in the cupboard under the sink is a dual valve for the cooker and the fridge! Best check both of those as someone previously said they’re easy to knock on or off accidentally!
