We had, and loved, a Pullman for eight years.
Eventually sold because of the growing pile of other kit we took with us (Kayaks, bikes etc etc ... and there just wasn't the room to cope, despite adding a single bike carrier to the rear of the camper.
We made several changes/variations including:
1. Getting rid of the window curtain rods in the main cabin ... pretty heavy with curtains on and often distorted the ceiling infit. We switched to sprung wires (as are supplied for the bedroom windows and the two curtains that cover the bed space openings ... just drilled holes in the adjacent upright supports and slung the curtains on them ... could even fold down without having to remove the curtains.
2. Removed the fold down cupboard/wardrobe ... found that we had to empty it before folding down, unless used for pillows, which, anyway, can pack away in situ on beds. This gave a lot of extra space to pack items in whilst towing.
3. The cupboard top that held the removed cupboard was tiled and then served as a base for a table top fridge ... wonderful extra space for items that needed fridge ... even if it's just loads of beer! As we holidayed mainly on the continent, that was a lifesaver as the small built in fridge couldn't cope.
4. Varnished the bed support boards with good quality marine varnish ... top, bottom and sides ... saved any problems with damp.
5. When attaching the awning ... zip it on first, then throw it over the roof of the main unit ... then build the framework ... when frame is up, pull zipped on awning back over the frame ... make final adjustments to frame ... then peg out.
Have a ball ... they are terrific fun and value!

Thanks for this. I was considering making the wardrobe removable (or replaceable with just the back wall (to keep the back room closed in) and having the extra space for other items /, and gaining that floor space back.
I would love to see some pictures of your set up.
