Just looked on Bessie’s that is setting up awning on bigger camper would they all be basically the same

Yes, ours is basically the same, and from looking at YouTube they haven't changed a great deal over the years.

We've only pitched it once so far, and it went okay. My concern with it really is the weight. The unit itself I can manage solo, but I would struggle to get the awning dry if we had a wet pack up, and we're going to have to split out the roof and side panels because I can barely lift the bag.

We unzipped all the panels when we took it down, so I'm hoping we'll find it easier to pitch roof first next time, the way we always did our previous trailer tent. We're out next weekend, weather willing, so I'll let you know!

All the best,
Alison

Just my luck 😢

Will the sun camp swift Monty posted the link for fit ?

sorry no it wont, your just going to have to stick with the awning that came with your folding camper i think,

Not so, others are available.

One
Two

And I'm pretty sure TVS do one.

once again neither of them will do as both are from 2008 models onwards, the OP clearly gave the age of her model in the very first post of " 2007 Conway Countryman"

Once again have you checked the dimensions of a Countryman?
There is next to no change across the time span of manufacture.
So I think you will find a 2008 awning will fit a 2007.
And I did clearly read the year, thanks.

XVI yes?

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

I don't know how I mucked up the quote above, deleted something important I expect, but my reply is:

They might have changed the zip on the 2008 model. I might be wrong, but I think they introduced the acrylic canvas about then, so the zip could have been changed at the same time. It also could have something to do with when Pennine took over manufacture.

It doesn't mean the zip can't be matched, and an awning adapted, just that those specific ones might not fit.

All the best,
Alison
