Hi, I realise that there are several threads around this subject but most are quite old now.
I have a 20yr old Conway Challenger (grey/green version for what it's worth). It was given to me and if I can persuade management that it is a more comfortable setup than a tent we will probably look to buy something newer in a couple of years. It has the trailer unit and a full awning, but I would really like a canopy that I could cook under instead of cooking in the awning.
I have tried eBay, had a look at Tent Valeting Services, but cannot find anything. The closest thing I can find is this - https://shortenedlinksdontwork.com/Universal-Tent-Canopy from Berger. At £50 it fits the bill, but I am not sure how it would connect to the frame and it is over a metre short in width. I don't want to spend a lot as it will only be for a couple of seasons, after which I'll either buy something with a sewn in groundsheet for the awning, or give it up.
Has anyone had any experience with universal canopies or other solutions?
