I've just had the problem of storage for my folding camper. The solution I found, which was suggested by a friend, was to contact my local sailing club and see whether they'd do a deal to store it. I found one that would, and the costs are exceptionally reasonable.
I can't store mine undercover, but I get 24 hour access for the fraction of the price of storage on a campsite. In the winter, I just put two tarpaulins over it to keep the wet out...seems OK.
