Tent Valeting Services are excellent, even though their accents are a bit dodgey! Talk to them, tell them what you've done, admit it was all your fault and ask for advice.
I have read on another forum that it is possible to make a perfectly satisfactory repair yourself by ordering a chunk of canvas from them and GLUEING it on with a white paper glue, the brand name of which escapes me. This is actually apparently what they advised as an economical repair. I only remember this because I was as shocked as you are now!
Remember, the fact that it can be repaired is the main thing. Don't panic!!!!!
Do not do anything until you have spoken to them and asked for help. They have just made up some skirts for my Conway Excel at a very reasonable price and were easy, polite, friendly and most importantly fun to deal with. And a phone call only costs, well, the um..... price of a phone call I suppose!
COPYDEX!!!! I'm sure it was Copydex adhesive!
(Sorry, I had a Jade from Big Brother moment there as I remembered things......)
Good luck with it.

These broken wings are gonna leave me here to stand my ground......
