The Pennine web site has a nice new layout and online spares catalogue. But the final pricing is incorrect. I wanted to order a small item web price £5.95 but at checkout the price was £23.95 (£15 delivery and £3+ for vat). I emailed Pennine complaining at such high postage charges and they replied very quickly saying the web shows incorrent final prices. Postage on my item sould have been £2 not £15. They still have a £10 min order for online orders and thats where the incorrect price is coming from. So always email to check on the correct price and order more than £10's worth of stuff.
you was lucky to get a reply from them . my wife enquired about a shelf unit for our FC about 4 weeks ago by phone and e-mail and at least three times since and we still have had no reply from them so i made one in the end. and thanks we will keep an eye on the prices just in case we might need something from them if not i'll make it .
I tried to contact Pennine about an awning. They could not have been more un-helpful. What a bunch of muppets they are, good product, lousy and truly awful company company !
My feelings exactly. I have tried to contact them twice over the last year both by e-mail and phone both times. On neither occasion have I had any joy.
As you say, great product, but as for customer support...................pants!!!!!!
I have been in contact with pennine over the past few months and they couldn't have been more helpfull, my 2000 Pathfinder has been repaired and they upgraded other things on it that had changed ie press studs on poles new velcro attachmentsfor the side, if you want spares or repairs ask for Katrina or neil
Just an update. I ordered 3 items on Tuesday afternoonthis week and they arrived at 9.0am this morning. Totel postage for the three items...one was a mirror.. was £10. The Pennine staff were very helpful and knew their stuff, so I found them excellent to deal with. One comment .. when you ring go for the receiption option and ask for sales/spares. Its not all that clear when you listen to the options.
Reading the last two posts it seems I may have just been unlucky, or they have recently got their act together. Either way I am pleased and hope it continues as the product is great.
