Thanks for that, I have sent an email to Camping International.
Jaffa and Pat, how do these panels fix to the poles - is it Velcro?
I was thinking, if we had both panels, could we use that as an outside door, and keep the inner one open. I know this TT is big, but it's a bit of an awkward layout, everyone has to walk past the kitchen unit as they come in, and if the unit is open I find it a bit dangerous. We've only been out in it once so we're still experimenting with different places to set things up, so any hints welcome.
We take a small fridge and TV, and don't quite know the best place for them, but I was thinking with the new panels we could take the side one out completely and increase the area. What do you think?

Hi Lynn
We got the panels that you are after, for the Galaxy( the Atlantis is a different colour) from Caseys in Chester, they have an on-line ordering service, but you're better ringing them. As far as I can tell, someone actually goes over to France occasionally & they pick up special orders like that.
I can't remember how the panels fix on, its either velcro or ties, but that does leave quite a gap at the side so its not really feasible to remove the inside panel. Having said that they are handy as we use that part as a porch for coats, shoes, drying stuff etc & find it more useful now that it is enclosed.
I think most TTs have the kitchen by the door, so the only other option is to use the side panel, next to the trailer body as a door.
I take a kitchen stand with me & that just fits at the side of the kitchen, I put the fridge on the bottom & kettle & little oven on the top. The food goes in plastic boxes underneath the kitchen & all the dishes etc live permanently in the kitchen. I think part of the fun is the constant refining of the way you do things, but I am a bit sad like that.

I'll write a list

I thought I replied to your question the other day, I obviously pressed the wrong button!
The side panel attaches to the roof bar with vecro and clips, and both the sides clip to the respective poles. The door panel attaches to the roof bar with clips, and one side clips to the pole the other side is ties.We can get this porch area reasonably secure, and as mentioned before we use this area to put our camp kitchen, cooler box, kettle etc out here.We have only had a problem with this area when we had very strong wind and rain conditions. Not a serious problem, just irritating! This area is also very good for wet or damp conditions as we can get into the dry area, remove footwear and then go into the main tent.
We can not take out the panel you mentioned, as it is part of the awning. We probably could roll it up, but as we put a small table in that corner to put the telly on, I do not think that would work for us. We have used our TT about 7 times since last year and still keep changing our minds about where to put things. The camp kitchen was the best purchase we have made so far.
